Starting off as a bedroom dj he developed his talent to the extent that it became apparent to the people around him that he was serious about becoming a professional dj. At the beginning practicing at home was the only way to express his love for the music but soon he wanted to share his passion with others. He started playing at birthday and student parties, but after a while he was ready to play in clubs. In September 2005 Wes Montello was a contestant at a dj contest in Club-Westwood (The Hague) which he won. That gave him the opportunity to become the resident dj on Friday nights. He played there for almost 2 years until he moved to London. In the meantime Wes Montello played at clubs like: Fabric, London SASH, London Nikki Beach, Marbella CLub-Westwood, Den Haag Le Paris, Den Haag Asta, Den Haag Nighttown, Rotterdam Now & Wow, Rotterdam Las Palmas, Rotterdam To name a few. In January 2008 Wes Montello's demo was aired by dj Tiësto as part of his radio program Tiësto's clublife, at radio 538. Tiësto ended his promo with the following words: 'You will hear a lot from this guy in the future'. In all his gigs he brings a great mix of different house styles to keep the crowd interested.
