1989
Erkan "MC Syco" Coskunsu got infected with the sound of hip-hop and started to dance to that kind of music. Also in this year he got hooked up with a few other hip hop maniacs and formes "No Licence" Erkan becomes one of the crews dancers. The DJ of this crew is Michel "The Vinyl Junk" van den Berg.1

1992 
After some time spending with No License, MC Syco got infected with the sound of House. He starts to mc at all the local houseparty's and receives a lot of positive reactions about his voice.

1997 
The year of Shadowlands. MC Syco becomes a member/mc of the "Shadowlands Terrorists" This live act performs at party's in Italy, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, US and a lot more. There's no doubt about it, they are very successful in Europe. MC Syco also mc's at the DJ sets of "DJ Vince" also a member of the Terrorists and is still doing so. Last year Syco also met "DJ Quicksilver". Together with this DJ mc Syco performs at party's in Germany, Hungery, Turkey and Holland.

1998 
Syco starts working with the Vinyl Junk again. Together they plan to conquer Europe. Syco is still on tour with the Shadowlands Terrorists.

1999 - 2000 
Besides being an mc for DJ Vince, The Vinyl Junk, Quicksilver and the Shadowlands Terrorists, MC Syco starts doing Hip Hop again."Arka Sokak" (www.arkasokak.nl) is the name of this Turkish group, which consists of three members. The music is best to describe as New York USA style with Turkish influences. The main language for this music is also Turkish. Already Arka Sokak performed as a support-act for the respected Dutch groups such as; E-Live, Osdorp Posse and the Postman. Within the Turkish scene they are very popular.

2001 - now 
Nowadays mc Syco is an all-round mc, rapper and entertainer for all style's you can imagine. He is capable of doing things people want to hear at the exact right moment. For the future syco plans to do even more party's with the Vinyl Junk and DJ Vince. Further on he is trying to get some gigs together with the Vinyl Junk at other side of the ocean.

Also MC Syco will speak the speaker on upcoming events like: H4L, Moh, Hardbass, Decibel, Defqon, Thunderdome, Oldschool Madness...
