Born in Holland in 1982 Maarten developed his passion for dance music at a young age. Listening to and highly motivated by the ‘Turn up the Bass’ compilations; it gave him the inspiration to start producing music on his Amiga 500. Aged just 15 Maarten took to the decks, spinning dance music on his then belt drive turntables.

Becoming one of the youngest resident DJs in Holland he played in local clubs and began networking with other DJs and producers. From there he embarked on his production career at the age of 17, releasing his first track in the same year. Maarten de Jong ‘Massive’ brought with it a quick-fire raft of support from DJs including Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk. ‘Mono’, which was released in 2008 on Sander van Doorn’s Doorn Records, scored a No.1 slam-dunk on Beatport’s chart. And his track ‘ID’ became a fully-fledged roof raiser - which gained support from Ferry Corsten and Marco V and many more.

Maarten’s early studio skills earned him a place on the team of one of the leading Dutch label collectives, Spinnin Records. Since signing with Spinnin and continuing to grow as a producer his original tracks and remixes are an instant fixture in the sets of any DJ they reach!

In late 2009 Maarten reworked the huge commercial hit Coldplay - The Scientist which got huge plays from USA to Australia by Ferry Corsten who played it on his BBC Radio One Essential Mix. He has also released remix work for some other labels outside of the Netherlands including Goodgreef & Slinky (UK), Full Tilt (IRE); Freefall (AUS)

2010 has been the year of his international breakthrough as a DJ. With debuts coming in thick and fast all over the world, Maarten de Jong is on his way to be the next superstar DJ/PRODUCER to come from the seemingly never ending conveyer belt of Dutch talent.

‘FULLY LOADED’ is the new brand from Maarten de Jong.
Initially this is his fully hosted 2 hour radio show on DI.FM which runs monthly. Future expansion plans for 'FULLY LOADED' will his own club night and a live DJ concept. An Intelligent blend of Trance, Tech Trance, Progressive, Tech House, Electro, Minimal & Techno will all be supported and showcased under the 'FULLY LOADED' brand.
