The Romania singer Inna became successful in a short time. It started with her single ‘Hot’ one year ago. Now the singles ‘Deja Vu’ and ‘Love’ are major hits and her new single ‘Amazing’ is climbing in the charts. Also her album ‘Hot’ has been released. DDance.nl had an interview with this summary singer.
Your first song 'Hot' immediately was a major success. How is that success formed?
That's correct, well..the song was really good and I think it has something different, actually the song promoted itself so this says a lot about its straight and quality.
In Holland your album 'Hot' has been released. How long did it take with your producers to compose the whole album?
Some of the songs were produced in 2008 and some in 2009, '10 minutes' was released in January this year, don't know exactly what to tell you, 'Hot' is a great album, has five singles on it but I tell you something, you can expect to a better second album :)
Your new single here in Holland is 'Amazing'. What is this song about?
Yes, 'Amazing' is my new single in Holland, it's one my favorite as well, I do have big expectations from it, it's a really summery song, it's about getting in love, if someone haven't listened already go ahead and do it :)
Can you explain why a lot of successful artists come from Romania nowadays?
I've been asked this a lot lately! Don't know, Romanian music is getting better and better and it's really great!
Are there artists on your wish list you would like to work with?
Yes, there are some, but you know, there are too many to tell you right now.
Last month you were in Amsterdam on Queensday. How was it to be there?
Yess!! Queensday was crazy! I think it was one of my largest audience ever, I was really excited before my performance, but eventually everything went well, can't wait to come again in Holland, I had so much fun there!
Are there spots in the world where you would like to perform in the future?
Don't know really..everywhere I feel great, in some countries I'm better known, in some I'm not but everywhere I have fans and they really make me feel like home, I would like to thank them again for this!
What are your plans for the upcoming months?
Really busy schedule, I will release some more songs, two songs will be premiered these days, I will shoot some more videos and doing promos for singles and album releases.
How is your career look like over 5 years from now?
Well, tough question! Don't know, lets wait and see..
What are your activities beside singing?
I don't get much free time, so I don't have any other. When I do have some spare time, I like to spend it with my family and my friends, watching movies, walking my dog, stuff like that :)
Are you going for a holiday this summer?
God, I hope so! :)
