The interventions of this young Rotterdam artist are a humurous critique on problems of ownership in the public domain. By transforming the look of dustbins, potholes, and park benches, Hoed Ketoer questions our relationship with and treatment of these objects. While investigating underlying assumptions about the user in the design of anonymous government infrastructure, he reveals our exaggerated respect for privately-owned luxury goods.

Besides that, he creates concepts, structures and performances for events, re-creates icons of consumerism and design in a humorous yet confronting manner and plays with their contextual value, builds interiors and furniture under “Wood Ketoer”, works as a musician/dj and has a long history in street art and graffiti.
