Daniel van den Berg, born the 8th of June 1991 starts to develop and create his passion for music at the age of 14. Going out to the club, watching DJ´s do their stuff and floating between a lot of different types of music his admiration keeps on growing. Seeing videoclips of his favorite tunes and buying CD´s at regular musicstores lets him stay in touch with the latest releases and music. A few years later he visites different festivals where the boundries of his passion reaches his limit: Daniel knows what he wants. Then, finally at the age of 17 he gets his first DJ-setup.

The days past that Daniel was locked up at the attic trying to control the mixing skills and finding the correct tracks upon each other. He came in touch with his first performances at a local youth center that brought him the equipment to perform live sets with more sound than just the sound in his bedroom. He held several parties there, but then he realised it was his turn behind the wheels of steel. Examenparties, birthday bashes, and schoolparties where part of Daniels carreer now. On the 10th of july, work had finally payed off: he could perform at the top club of Arnhem: Manhattan.

DJ-Contests was the next step for Daniel, a real challenge. He did a few in the start that couldn´t give him the drive that he needed. But on March the 12th of 2010, Kunstbende as it´s called, gave him a real challenge. He produced together with a close friend of him an intro for the set, and won the first round of the province Gelderland. He came through the second round and leaded him to a stunning 4th place in the final of the Netherlands. It definitely put him in the spotlights, because he was offered a residence at Club Purple, he came at Radio Gelderland and he did a liveset at GetMixed.FM.

His intro at the Kunstbende DJ-Contest wasn´t the only track Daniel produced. His next step besides perform as a DJ was producing his own tracks. His first release will be with Soulscum at Soul Shift Music (USA). His goal is creating an own unique style that will stand for the name: Daniel Williamsen!
