Daniel Bovie & Roy Rox have managed to acquire just that. After being active members in the house scene for more than two decades, their DJ-sets tell a musical journey: years of experience, vision and inspiration regarding house music.

Daniel and Roy are self-made musicians. Growing up near each other, they got in touch with music at an early age. Through practice and observation they developed and improved their deejaying and production skills ever since they were 16 years old. While working in a Belgian Club, Daniel Bovie met Roy Rox and the two haven’t left the studio, ever since.

To these two artists, music is all that matters. Not wasting a thought about writing commercial tracks to sell records, they create a distinguished, deep, soulful and vocal house mix which pleases the demanding ear. This genuine and devoted take on house music led to various successful tracks and dedicated fans. Because of this the Duo has been a consistent choice regarding collaborations for many record labels such as Ministry of Sound, Defected, Positiva, Peppermint jam and Strictly Rhythm.

Tracks like ‘Stop Playing With My Mind’, ‘Love Me (ft. Nelson)’ and ‘Preacher (ft. Haze)’ prove that Daniel Bovie & Roy Rox are a trademark for high quality music. This was also recognized by big international artists like Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong and Tiësto, who include their tracks in many playlists. Whilst performing they are often characterized as energetic, passionate and pure; they easily convince a crowd. They have presented their skills at a series of popular clubs and festivals like Mysteryland, Tomorrowland, Luxurush, Bloomingdale, La Rocca (Belgium), Escape (Amsterdam) Bizznizz (Montpellier), Heineken Music Hall (Amsterdam) and various Defected Party's worldwide.

For their latest project, True House Music Records, the duo hooked up with Dutch House Hero Ricky Rivaro, to create a label which specializes on pure house beats. Soon, the first True House Music Label night at a fully packed club Rex was a fact. The successful project even caught the attention of the renowned New Yorker Label Strictly Rhythm, which resulted in a fusion between the two companies. This successful duo has proven to the world that they are able to adapt and reinvent themselves, ensuring them a spot in the DJ elite for years to come. Their solid productions convince the crowd and the serious commitment to their work have turned them into credible and admired artists of the scene.
