Starting out on the clarinet, this multi instrumentalist masters the sax, guitar, bass, and keys, yet stuck with percussion (for now). The catching fire & passionate dedication that Cherokee plays conga’s, bongo’s, timbales & other (electronic) percussive instruments, caused him also 2 be known as The Power or Passion Percussionist.

Surrounded by his uniQ and comprehensive set, Power Percussionist Cherokee adds X-tra danceble dimensions 2 the trax. His specially developed & custom build set(s) contains both high-teck acoustic & electronic percussion instruments. With this gear Cherokee can also provide tailor-made (sound/voice) samples during his gigs; highlighting the DJ, track, party or event. It also enables name or product Branding! A superb live act, that is musically mind-blowing and visually phenomenal.

Style
His impressively extensive musical background ranges from playing numerous bands, acts, shows, musicals, theatre & studio productions to DJ-ing, sound engineering, composing & producing. It's no surprise Cherokee easily establishes a superb synergy with the DJ on-stage. Resume
For years Cherokee featured in widely ranging styles. There's virtually no venue, event or stage he hasn't performed at. When he wasn't on the road, his skills were required for studio and theatre productions. This ongoing musical progress subsequently developed into successful gigs with DJ's in clubs and events at present.

Future
Cherokee has been approached by several DJ/producers 2 spice some new (international) trax & recordings. So keep your ears 2 the ground wide open. But not only your ears, but also your eyes, cause Cherokee’s Clip channel will be online soon. The new gear has now enabled international engagements & provided new opportunities, due to the Xclusive percussion-set and minimal freight costs which has been the bottleneck in the past. Going 4ward Cherokee has accepted international bookings and will be on tour later this year with his own, uniQ sounds & instruments. Due 2 this ongoing success Cherokee presently works with 2 customised sets, making it possible 2 do multiple gigs a day working within a tight time schedule. Still developing & integrating new electronic percussion sounds & features, Cherokee is also focussing on new frontiers, like “percussive” live commercial teasers.
