At age 9 little Madeleine was already touring the world as part of an internationally renowned vocal ensemble. A truly talented individual born into music, her father & 4 siblings esteemed pianists, guitarists & vocalists.

In her mid teens, wise beyond her years, she delved deep into the indie rock scene. Sneaking through the backdoor at The Metro & butting heads with an older crowd of musicians, she felt right at home.

Slowly introduced to electronic music as she approached her first year at COFA, her initial thoughts were: “Distorted and repetitive and shit… its for morons”. However that first year out of high school would see a complete shift in this opinion.

Living in Kings Cross, taking up club photography to make ends meet Madeleine soon began to fall for dance music and it’s culture. It wasn’t long before her musical obsession took over.
Every chance she got; friends houses, birthdays, bars, clubs, she would be mixing.

With her strange love affair for deep male vocals & 808 bass lines, an Astrix set is the perfect blend of floor filling grooves & chin stroking tunes.
